Best keyboard for the Apple MacBook Pro is.... the IBM Model M. It has amazing spacing between the keys and doesn't suffer from MacBook butterfly keyboard key problems.

This past Sunday, I went on location in Alpharetta, Georgia at Garrard Landing Park to shoot Gracie and Ginger Bondurant, two sisters participating in the Roswell Photography Workshops.

I made a short montage video of some Karate. Have a look. Used the X-T3, which is wonderful for video, plus the Fujinon XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR lens.

What else can I say? Amazing experience. Felt like seeing another world for a few minutes.

Sunday morning. About 40 degrees or so. On location with about 10 photographers and two models in downtown Atlanta.

Many photographers have Flickr accounts. Inside each Flickr account you have a special ‘About’ page where you can display your biography, contact info, etc. The problem is that most Flickr ‘About’ pages are nothing more than a sea of text

On location in Duluth, GA with model Vaishali Gajjar. I used a Fujifilm X-T3, carrying the 56mm and 90mm portrait primes. 

Adobe’s DNG converter tool now converts Fujifilm X-T3 RAW files. However, I first noticed a serious problem when importing those DNG files into Capture One: the colors shifted.

In the age of Instagram, it’s getting harder and harder to get a landmark shot that has not been done 1000 times before.

I’ve been trying to move away from Adobe products lately — for a lot of reasons, so I figured I’d give Iridient a try. Not that it will replace Lightroom, but at least for RAW processing.

I’ve been speaking and giving presentations professionally for almost 20 years. I recently returned from conducting a seminar yesterday and I started thinking about what tips/advice I would give to someone who has an upcoming presentation to give.

Located in Chattahoochee Hills Georgia, Cochran Mill Park is a hidden treasure with 800 acres of woods, fields, streams, waterfalls, huge boulders, rock outcrops, wildflowers, and the ruins of 3 historic mills. 

I had mixed feelings about opening up an Instagram account to showcase some of the Timely Photos here. I’ve always felt that Instagram is first and foremost about the person behind the photos — not necessarily the brand behind the photos.

Today I’m excited to announce the launch of a new photography series: Americana. To kick things off, I can think of no better icon than the American-made automobile.

Sometimes even the most mundane places can once in a while show you something incredible.  Have your camera ready.
