Tripod: JOBY GorillaPod 1K Kit (https://amzn.to/2N3BUoW). GorillaPod’s are not bad, but can be kinda goofy sometimes with the legs. You do need something that can hold the weight of the camera, the mic, and maybe even an external light as well. This one works well for me. Make sure it comes with the ball head.
